Monday rolls around again and I am participating in the Much Love Monday link-up over at Anna’s Much Love.
Loulou is a nickname for my given name, which is Louise. And my favourite sandwich is a fried broken-yolk easy-over egg with melted cheese, between toast made with Nick’s homemade bread. Then I add just the right amount of hot sauce (I like Matouk’s) and a daub of ketchup.
Nick knows I love them so makes them once a month or so. And when I ask him what we’re having, his reply is “Louise Sandwiches”. Such a dish in your home probably goes by another name, but no matter what it’s called, it is something I love.
And yes, we do have these heart-shaped egg makers, which were a fun gift from my sister!
