We don’t go in for all-inclusive types of beach resorts and prefer a simple yet comfortable accommodation. We also enjoy privacy, in that it is nice to have people around for brief chats, but we are not out to really make friends while away from home. I don’t mean to sound snobbish but meeting people who we will probably never see again is not high on our list of things to do, so we don’t really ‘join the party’.
We found the Alamanda through Tripadvisor and happy very happy there. It offered us exactly what we love in a beach holiday and well go back sometime for sure.
The part we liked the most was the fact that we have our own little fridge and some dishes. Also the bed linens were dreamy, all cotton, including a beautiful white coverlet/blanket that was washed regularly.
So tomorrow I will post pictures of the souvenirs and gifts we bought will there, and then that will conclude the story about our wonderful anniversary trip to St. Martin.
Thank you very much for taking a look.
ps. I surely hope I don’t come across as Miss Bragedy-Brag by sharing all these posts about our trip. We don’t take such holidays often, and pinched our pennies to get there.
