What’s up in the Garden : July

Hello! Welcome to my monthly garden entry. In comparison to the past 3 months, July’s garden offerings were somewhat sparse. But these plants made up for things by offering hundreds of blossoms! The clematis was spectacular, and the hibiscus equally so. This tree was here when we moved in and now stands a remarkable two stories high. I believe it may have been planted soon after the house was built, in the 80s. From what I’ve read about these plants they are not supposed to get this big, so I guess ours is a very happy plant in deed! The honey bees that come to visit are very glad it’s here.

Clematis buds and Lavender (smelling amazing!)

Clematis Vine .. must have a thousand flowers on it! Glorious
