Alleyways and Groceries

Here are some shots from an errand-walk we took last week, when I was able to get Nick to veer off his efficient path, and sneak around a bit in some back alleys with me.

First we were on King Street West. Walking along the street you can just barely see this old loading dock, hidden down a lane-way. The building, which would have been built at the end of the 1800s, is quickly becoming surrounded by new development but from the look of things, it is going to stay put the way it is at least for now.

And no, we didn’t plan to dress in matching outfits …
