I actually passed by these three on the street the other day, but about 10 steps later, I turned right around and went back. I just could not resist getting a shot of some dogs riding around in a carriage.
Apparently they often travel like this when out running errands.
I particularly liked the necklace and the hair bows.
This is a situation where you must take what you get as far as backgrounds for your photos go. It wasn’t like I could ask the lady to start pushing them along the sidewalk for me to take better pictures, nor could I creep around until they began moving!
That said, the store they’re in front of, called Rotblott’s, is a really neat place that is fun to go to. It’s one of the oldest businesses in the area, having been in the family for generations, and often when we go there we are served by the adult grandson of the original founder. It is like a hardware store but with a whole lot more, including some stock that looks like it’s been there since the place first opened. It’s a great place to have a poke around in. For example, I found these vintage apothecary bottles there which I used for my homemade lavender oil. Also I posted some pictures inside the store here.
Wishing you a happy weekend. Hope you have some fun and/or relaxation lined up. We’re having some friends over for dinner tonight and then another friend over to jam some music tomorrow. Plus our clocks go back an hour and we get an extra hour tomorrow! Love that.
