Here are some pictures I took from the car while Nick was driving me home from a doctors appointment last Thursday, just before noon.

A Get Together

On Friday I went out with a group of ladies I used to work with. One of them is moving to another city, so it was a farewell party for her.

I was happy to be invited to join these former colleagues for an evening out.

City Walk : Osgoode Hall and Sculptures at City Hall

Last month I went to the art gallery to see the work of contemporary artist Ai Weiwei, posted about here. Coinciding with this gallery show was a temporary outdoor installation of his Zodiac Heads, called Circle of Animals.

In addition to this stop in Toronto, these sculptures have already been on display in many cities around the world, including London, Kiev, Taipei, New York, Los Angeles, and Soa Paulo. And will soon be making it to Cleveland and Miami. (You can read and watch a good video about them here.)

I had a different pet-related post planned for today but all that changed when I awoke to find this.I have always been curious and impressed by the number of stray kibbles I have found in Eddie's water bowl, but this feat takes the cake.

A Sunset, Fancy Car and Possibly the Best Bike Ever

Hello and happy Friday to you! I've got a bit of a mishmash today, but if it helps with the 'Why?', I saw all these things on the same day, a week ago Thursday.

Let's start at the end, with the sunset I walked through on my way to this pizza dinner lady-date.

These shots were taken at around 7:15, a point that will become more relevant in a couple of months when it will be dark as night by 5pm around here.
